Explicit participant orientation ensures that the needs of learners are incorporated into the learning activities and that content is aligned with real-life practice outside the educational institution.
In this way, participants increasingly take shared responsibility for their own learning process, the transfer of what has been learned is facilitated, and a partnership-based relationship develops between learners and teachers.
